Welcome to the Barrowden Village website

Barrowden is located adjacent to the River Welland in Rutland just off the A47 between Uppingham and Peterborough. It is a medium sized village with a population of approximately 600 to 700 people. There is a church, a village hall, a doctor's surgery, a shop, a mobile library, a recreational field with cricket club and a pub, The Exeter Arms. Barrowden can trace its history back to the eleventh century.
